Outcomes

Of the 409 young men who met the criteria for our primary population, 80% were engaged in stage based programming.

Participant Process Indicators for Phase 1 & Phase 2 participants:

• 67% of all Phase 2 Participants were seen 2-3 times weekly
• 67% of all participants were engaged in educational and prevocational programming
• 52% of those engaged in education and prevocational programming made gains

Participant Outcomes for Phase 3 Participants:

Of those who graduated to Phase 3 in FY12:

• 79% retained employment
• 70% made educational gains
• 90% have no new arrests
• 100% have no new technical violations

Employment Programming

Transitional Employment

Roca served 172 unduplicated participants in Transitional Employment. 161 Were served in Basic Transitional Employment. 31 Were served in Advanced Transitional Employment.

The following is information on the 161 who successfully completed Basic Transitional Employment:

• 86% have retained employment
• 24% were placed in jobs
• 64% were placed in Advanced Transitional Employment
• Of those successfully completed Advanced Transitional Employment:

  • 75% have retained employment

    Of 63 Job Placements made, 51 were unduplicated participants:

    • 67% were still employed at the end of the reporting period
    • 33% are working towards replacement
