Rosie Muños López joined Roca in 2012 as the director of the Young Mothers programs. She comes to Roca with a long history of working in women and children’s health with special emphasis on health disparities based on gender and race. Some of Rosie’s work includes the adaptation of the Latin American version of Nuestros CuerposNuestras Vidas (Our Bodies, Ourselves) where she worked with over 16 Latin American countries.
Prior to joining Roca, Rosie was the MCH division director for the Boston Public Health Commission. Her international work has taken her to India, Costa Rica, and Haiti. Rosie holds bachelor’s degrees in Women’s Studies and Sociology and a Master’s in Public Health from Boston University.
