Roca rigorously tracks data and continuously evaluates its practices and outcomes. Weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually, we track and evaluate data regarding participant progress and staff performance, using this data to ensure continuous improvement. At Roca, we know that good intentions don’t always produce good results – that’s why our Intervention Model focuses on results first.
Roca’s internal data system is based on Social Solutions’ Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) platform. Our adapted ETO database captures every effort to contact a young person and every hour spent in programming, as well as intake information (including risk/need assessment), progress of the transformational relationship between each Youth Worker and a young person, and overall program and staff performance.
Roca actively seeks opportunities for external program and impact evaluation. Recent evaluators include Abt Associates, Community Resources for Justice at the Crime and Justice Institute, Root Cause and Urban Institute’s Randomized Control Trial which is conducted as part of Roca’s Pay for Success project.
